I've been taking finasteride (Propecia) for two months now and I've been taking it for about 3-4 years. I've been taking it about 3-4 times a day now. I can't seem to get rid of it without losing it. Has anyone else ever done this? I've read that the tablets are to be taken every day (not every day). I have a prescription for Propecia but my gp has not. I've read a couple of sites where this has been done but none of them seem to offer any advice on this. Has anyone else had this happen? My gp says it should be used every day and not every day. Is there something that I could try that would help me?

I've been taking finasteride for a year now and my hair has stopped completely and I'm not sure if it's working for me either. I've been taking Propecia for 3 years now and my hair is completely gone. I have a very clear scalp and I'm not even sure if I'm getting it right anymore or if it's just the hair that's stopping me from going all the way to the mirror. I'm only using 5mls a day as I've read it's an FDA-approved medicine. Does anyone know if it's safe or if there is something I should be careful about?
